Church of Our Saviour

Welcome Reverend Joe

The Rev. Joseph Woodfin has been named new pastor for Church of Our Saviour Episcopal Church in Gallatin. Woodfin assumes his new duties June 8 following the retirement of the Rev. John Bender, who served as the church’s pastor for six years.

Woodfin, originally from the Chattanooga area, recently graduated from the School of Theology at the University of the South at Sewanee, where he received numerous academic awards during his studies. He also studied at Lipscomb University in Nashville and St. George’s College in Jerusalem, Israel.

Woodfin and his wife Carly have two small children, Luke, 4, and Maggie, 2. The family’s new home will be in Gallatin.

The community is invited to celebrate the Woodfin’s first service on June 14 at 704 Hartsville Pike. Holy Eucharist service times are Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Childcare is available. For information and additional worship times, visit gallatinepiscopalchurch.net
